SapientPro's Experience at the Conference
Tyler Fallon, our CEO at SapientPro NYC, joined the conference and shared his experience.
What was the most exciting part of ETHDenver 2024?
“I spent 90% of my time networking and getting to know new people from different teams. There were hundreds of booths and projects, so even after 3 days I was still meeting new people. What impressed me the most was the closing ceremony, where we got to hear all the project teams talk about their work and progress during the BUIDLathon.”
What were your most interesting acquaintances?
“I've gotten to know a lot of higher-ups at crypto companies that I've been talking to online for years. Some include Eric Kang from Avalanche, Jacob Creech from Solana Foundation, and Josh Gottlieb from Lendvest. I also went to the Avalanche Hack House where I met many team members. I've been working with Avalanche for many years, so meeting a lot of cool people who are also creating projects with this chain was awesome.”
What are your biggest takeaways from ETHDenver 2024?
“I've had some really insightful discussions with people about where DeFi and NFT are headed. I discussed Layer 1 scaling solutions with the Solana Foundation, Avalanche, Polkadot, INJECTIVE, and ICP teams, and how mainstream adoption in the space can occur with the current tech we have and future upgrades that are coming to each chain.”
“In the past 12 years, I’ve watched crypto mature from an incredibly niche industry that nobody even knew about into a sector of the tech field big enough to basically take over the entire city of Denver."
“It was absolutely surreal seeing people everywhere in the city talking about it, and at the conference, just the sheer number of people working on projects blew me away. The crypto space is here to stay and a ton of very smart people are dead-set on making it a success.”
