COVID-crisis influence over the digital world
With implemented quarantine, the global economy will suffer because it forces all businesses to put their productivity on pause. The sheer sense of business existence is making money. If they stop producing goods or providing services, they stop making a profit. This makes them less able to pay taxes and use more people, providing them with salaries (*read - mean of living). Yes, businesses can pay wages to the workers during the quarantine. For a month. Maybe two if they were profitable before. However, the more time the business doesn’t work - the more endangered its existence is, so people lose their jobs. They lose their jobs - they get less or no money. They have no money - the buy nothing but minimal food and means of living. People spend less - businesses that still afloat sell less and they need fewer people to work. People lose jobs… A vicious circle of COVID life.

Our first experience at SapientPro (Part 1)
Three years of effort. 1095 days of intensive coding.
26280 hours of building SapientPro. Soon, it’s our birthday - on the 15th of March (and we love chocolate cake, but if you bring pizza - that’ll do as well!). So, we recall how it all began for us: all screw-ups and victories, all great and difficult moments. That’s the history of SapientPro, and it makes us unique. SapientPro is not about work only. It’s about the people who do this work. This sentence is recurrent in everything we do.

Popular technologies in Mobile Development
I’m pretty sure now you can’t imagine your life without your smartphone. Checking time and weather, making calls, communicating via socials, reading news, calculating, taking photos, listening to music, playing games and these are just the essential things your device provides you with. The avalanche of technologies have covered the globe and it is vital not to get lost among all the innovations.
Do you remember looking for what’s new on your phone today in the morning? 78% of all users in developed countries check their smartphones within an hour after waking up. For the most part, these are text messages and instant messaging (IM). On average, users check their gadgets up to 40 times a day. So you have nearly 40 opportunities a day that your potential customer will use the services of your company.

Footshop visiting us in Chernivtsi
Hi guys, last week was a fantastic week. We had Footshop CTO/COO Peter Topor visiting us in Chernivtsi. To be honest, it was one of the best times we have had since we have been working in IT, combining fun with work, exciting discussions, overall ideas about technologies, and ways to bring Footshop to a high level.
Although it was raining most of the time, it didn’t keep us from seeing city sights, having good dinners, and meetups with all team members.
And guess what? More Footshop teammates are coming to visit us soon, so we expect a very productive week of innovative brainstorming and getting to know each other.
Cheers
